The Fishing Season
The season on the river opens on 1st May and continues until the autumn leaves fall on 15th October. And the lakes? They're ready for you come rain or shine, all year round. During our weed cutting dates, day rod bookings on the river are not possible. You can find the schedule for this season’s weed cutting dates right here.

Keeping just over 11 miles of the river Test special is a team with decades of experience at Leckford, as well as a wealth of experience fishing the river Test and many other fisheries across the world!

The team has all the skills needed, in spades, to manage the river’s ecosystem keeping it healthy and thriving for fish, wildlife and humans!
